🎓 About Me

I'm currently a student at BabeÈ™-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca, studying Computer Science in English. I'm passionate about technology, problem-solving, and learning new skills in programming and software development.

📚 Academic Background

Throughout my studies, I've gained experience in programming languages and technologies, including:

  • React, TypeScript and Node.js - [ Used in projects like FitBuddy, a full-stack web application for fitness tracking, featuring a modern UI, backend services, and real-time functionalities.]
  • Python - [Used for scripting and problem-solving.]
  • Java - [Used in app development and object-oriented programming.]
  • C++ & C# - [Implemented in object-oriented programming and game development.]
  • SQL - [Applied in databases management with SQL Server and MySQl.]

🛠 Projects and Experience

Here are a few projects I've worked on:

  1. Full-Stack Web Application: Calorie Management App

    • Developed using React (TypeScript), Express.js, and MySQL.
    • Implemented features like calorie tracking, water intake monitoring, and an admin dashboard.
    • Deployed backend on AWS EC2 for scalability and security.

  2. Movie Manager

    • Built using C++ with a Model-View-Controller (MVC) design pattern.
    • Integrated a GUI using the Qt framework.

  3. Poker Game Development

    • Collaborated in a team of 8 to develop a poker game using C#.
    • Refactored codebases to apply design patterns for improved maintainability.

  4. AI Data Validation App

    • Collaborated on a Next.js-based AI application for validating data about Romanian political history.
    • Utilized Supabase for data storage and RAG (Rapid Automatic Grading) for AI validation.

  5. My Portfolio Website

    • Designed and developed my personal portfolio website using Next.js.
    • Implemented features like Markdown support and responsive design.

  6. Multiple other smaller projects

    • Implemented multiple university projects that helped me learn new technologies and programming concepts.

Internship Experience

Software Development Intern at MHP – A Porsche Company (Jul 2024 – Aug 2024)

  • Developed a full-stack web application for agile project management.
  • Implemented real-time functionality using Web Sockets.
  • Worked with Java (Spring Boot), React, TypeScript, Liquibase, and Redux Toolkit.
  • Engaged in Agile practices including stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews.

🌱 Currently Learning

I'm always looking to expand my skill set. Right now, I'm focusing on learning:

  • React for front-end development
  • Flutter for mobile app development
  • Natural Language Processing (NLP) and AI
  • Advanced algorithms and data structures

🚀 Goals and Aspirations

After graduation, I want to pursue a career in software engineering. I'm excited to contribute to meaningful projects that make a positive impact!
